TS DOST Admissions 2018 – 19 Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for the Undergraduate Courses such as B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com. / B.Com. (Voc) / B.Com.(Hons) /BSW /BBA /BBM/BCA etc.,

1. The Candidate should be of Indian Nationality
2. For Admission of 1st year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.Com.(Voc.)/B.Com.(Hons)/BSW/BBA/ BBM/BCA etc Degree Courses must have passed Two Year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education or any other  Board recognised as equivalent
3. The students, who completed first 2 years Course of RGUKT, IIT, Basara programme are also eligible
4. In respect to the candidates, who have passed Intermediate (Vocational) Courses from the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education
5. The Candidates who have passed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology/Non-Engineering Courses recognized by State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET), Telangana, are eligible for admission in the 1st Year in all the Degree Programmes
6. The Candidates who have passed Intermediate (Vocational) Medical Lab Technology Course from the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State OR from any other State equivalent to it are eligible for admission into B.A. /B.Com Courses only
7. Candidates seeking admission into the B.Sc. 1st Year Course should have passed and secured an aggregate of 40% marks (a Pass only in the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates) in the concerned Science Subjects

DOST (Degree Online Services, Telangana) welcomes you to join in Undergraduate Courses, 2018-19 in Telangana. The only Gateway to Degree Courses (BA/B.Com./B.Sc. etc.) in the State of Telangana is DOST.

• Verify your Aadhaar number seeded/linked with your mobile number through the link https://resident.uidai.gov.in/aadhaarverification, well in advance.
• Link your mobile number with your Aadhaar number, name, gender and date of birth as per SSC/Intermediate Certificate, well in advance.
• Visit https://dost.cgg.gov.in
• You have to pay Rs. 200/- online to register on DOST
• One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your Aadhaar linked mobile number.
• Once you receive OTP, login for further registration process
• DOST ID will be generated based on your hall ticket and this will be valid and referred to till the process of admission is completed
• The admissions will be made in three phases

TS DOST 2018-19 Seat Allotment Process  

1. The order of merit of the candidates shall be on the basis of the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination.
2. In case of a tie in the aggregate marks, the following preferences shall be followed in the order: (a) the marks secured by the candidates in the optional subjects, (b) the marks secured in English  Language and (c) the date of birth/ age of the candidate (senior in age getting priority).
3. Fraction of 0.5% and above secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination shall be treated as 1% wherever necessary in the calculation of percentage of marks (eg.39.5% and above shall be treated as 40%).
4. Allotment of Seats for B.Com: 60% of the total number of available seats in B.Com in any College under the jurisdiction of the Universities of Telangana State shall be reserved for the candidates who studied and passed the qualifying examination with Commerce as the main subject.
5. Allotment of Seats for B.A: 50% of the total number of available seats in B.A. in any College under the jurisdiction of the Universities of Telangana State shall be reserve for the candidates who studie and pass the qualifying examination with at least one subject of Social Sciences or Humanities at the qualifying examination level
